1. Who is responsible for your data
INTELIA LLC (“INTELIA”, “we”), located at 2222 West Grand River Avenue, Ste. A, Okemos, MI 48864, United States, is responsible for the personal data you share through inteliasystems.com. We process your data in accordance with applicable law, including Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP) for people who contact us from Mexico. For any matter related to this notice, write to info@inteliasystems.com or call +1 269-284-4875.
2. Personal data we process
When you use our contact form or write to us, we process identification and contact data: your name, work email, company, phone number (optional), the service you are interested in and the content of your message. We also keep the date you sent it, the site language and a record that you accepted this notice.
We do not request sensitive personal data, nor financial or patrimonial data. Please do not include them in your message.
To prevent abuse of the form, we process for one hour an encrypted, irreversible fingerprint of your IP address that does not identify you.
3. Purposes
We use your data for the following purposes, which are necessary to attend your request:
- Respond to your inquiry and schedule a conversation.
- Prepare proposals and, if you hire us, provide the services you request.
- Follow up on our communication with you.
- Protect the website against spam and abuse.
- Comply with applicable legal obligations.
We do not use your data for secondary purposes such as marketing or advertising, and we do not sell it. If we ever want to use it for a different purpose, we will ask for your consent first.
4. How to limit the use or disclosure of your data
You can ask us at any time to stop contacting you by writing to info@inteliasystems.com. We will record your request and stop sending you communications. In Mexico, you can also register with the Public Registry to Avoid Advertising (REPEP) of the Federal Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco).
5. Transfers and service providers
We do not transfer your personal data to third parties for purposes that require your consent. We only share it with service providers that process it on our behalf to operate this website and our communications, such as hosting and email providers, under confidentiality obligations. Because we operate from the United States and serve clients in several countries, your data may be processed and stored in the United States, in Mexico and in the countries where those providers are located. We may also disclose it when a law or a competent authority requires it.
6. Your ARCO rights and revocation of consent
You may access, rectify or cancel your personal data, or object to its processing (ARCO rights), and revoke the consent you gave us. To do so, send an email to info@inteliasystems.com with the subject “ARCO rights” including:
- Your name and an email or address to receive our response.
- A document proving your identity or, where applicable, that of your representative.
- A clear description of the data and the right you want to exercise, or of what you are requesting.
- Any other element that helps us locate your data.
We will respond within a maximum of 20 days from receipt of your request and, if it is appropriate, we will make it effective within the 15 days following our response. These periods may be extended once for an equal period when justified. The procedure is free of charge and available to anyone, regardless of the country they contact us from.
If you believe your right to the protection of your personal data has been violated, you may go to Mexico’s Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, the authority in charge of protecting personal data held by private parties.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
We do not use advertising cookies or third-party cookies to track you.
- Language preference: we store in your browser’s local storage whether you prefer English or Spanish, so the site opens in your language. It does not identify you and you can delete it from your browser settings.
- Anonymous statistics: our server counts which pages are visited and which websites visitors come from, without cookies and without storing your IP address or any identifier.
- Technical cookies: WordPress only sets session cookies for administrators who log in to manage the site.
We do not allow third parties to collect information about your online activities over time and across other websites through our site, except Google Analytics when you accept it. Because we do not track people across websites or use advertising, the site works the same whether or not your browser sends a “Do Not Track” signal.
You can block or delete cookies and stored data at any time from your browser settings; the site will keep working.
8. Security
We apply reasonable administrative, technical and physical measures, such as encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorized access.
9. Retention
We keep your data for as long as necessary to respond to you and to maintain our business relationship, and afterwards only for the period required by law. Then we delete or anonymize it.
10. Minors
Our services are aimed at companies and professionals. We do not knowingly collect personal data from people under 18.
11. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice. We will publish any change on this page with its update date and, if a change requires your consent, we will ask for it before applying it.
